Episode 195 With Nick of The Phoenix Press - Screecher Comic, Wheel of Time, and Batman Villains

The bishop gestured for the Jester to assist in opening the door, and the Jester obliged. Small skeletons emerged from around the hinges of the door, pulling it off of its hinges. The Jester caught the door before it could fall and injure the group behind him. He checked the door, and then placed it gingerly back on the hinges. Opening and closing it, he tested the result of his handiwork. Apparently pleased with himself, he nodded to the bishop.
The bishop urged the group through the door. The Heroes made their way up the remaining stairs and into a dimly lit room. Inside was nothing but a torch and yet another door. The bishop quickly made it clear that they should abstain from straying too closely, and the leaders backed away quickly. The Jester ignored this warning, and slid open the door viewer and peered inside.
Inside there was a large amount of shuffling, and the Jester could make out shadowy forms skittering around the small beam of light making its way through the door viewer. Before he could decide what he believed he saw, there was a flurry of action, and the occupants of the room rushed at the door.

Episode 194 With Lowkea - Making Music, Visiting Your Hometown, and Old Memes

After climbing what felt like a thousand stairs, the Heroes notice the bishop and leaders stop in front of them. They murmur amongst themselves a bit before the bishop gestured for the Jester to come forward. The Jester looked around uncertainly, and then awkwardly pushed his way up the stairs.
He first passed by the slender Woman, and then easily past the Swordsman Hero. Unfortunately, the religious leaders were a bit plump, and so the Jester brushed up against them as he attempted to pass. At first he tried to face away from them as he went by, but was put off by the bellies of the leaders pressing against his back. The Jester's composure was further tested when facing towards them as he passed, as he locked eyes with the leaders as they pressed against each other face-to-face. Upon reaching the top by the bishop, the Jester looked back at where he had come from and saw only upset faces. The Woman and Swordsman Hero attempted to hide their chuckles as the leaders embarrassedly hid their faces.

Episode 193 With Wellington of Superpower Playbook - Creativity, Personal Growth, and Poor Schooling

Climbing up the stairs, the Heroes could see that each step they took grew less and less worn, as though those that had used it had lost their nerve and turned around. Each step had fewer cracks, and wore more and more dust, as nobody had bothered to climb far enough to clean them.
The Heroes heard a muffled noise from further up the staircase. It seemed like a growl of sorts, but they could not be sure. They were not deterred, and if anything it made them more curious. The bishop lead the way, with the leaders following closely behind. The Heroes were at the back of the procession, and could see nervousness creeping into the leaders. Whatever was at the top of the staircase caused them to grow fearful. The Heroes' curiosity grew ever more.

Episode 192 With FPN Norway - Dark Desires Album, Learning About Music, and Fighting For Rights

The door wouldn't budge. The attendant tried pulling again, but it made no difference. He put his foot on the wall, putting all of his strength into pulling, and still the door wouldn't move. The Jester motioned him to step aside, and so he did. The Jester placed his hand onto the door, and small skeletal fingers crept out from around the hinges. They pushed their way out, forcing the door off of its hinges and it collapsed to the floor.
The bishop and leaders look on in shock as the Jester picked up the heavily damaged door and leaned it up against the wall. The Swordsman Hero assured them that they would repair it before they left, and they went into the room. The Heroes looked around and realized they were in a small room that led to a staircase leading upward. They began their ascent.

Episode 191 - Best Starfield Tips, Lazy Employees, and How They Changed Spongebob

After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, the Heroes are finally called upon by the bishop. They turn to see him standing with a few religious leaders. They look at the Heroes cautiously, unsure of what to make of them. The leaders looked wary of the Jester in particular, though there was probably good reason for that. The Bishop waved the Heroes over, and so they made their way to him.
They continued through to a back room in the cathedral until they reached a small, old door. It's hinges were heavily rusted, and its wooden features were dry and cracked. The Bishop motioned for an attendant to open it, and they attempted to do so. They pulled out a small, old key and fit it into the lock. With a turn, the lock made a solid clunk, and the attendant pulled on the handle.

Episode 190 - Starfield, Baldur’s Gate 3, and Lies of P

The Heroes explained to the bishop what had occurred to them on their travels. They told him of the cave with the massive beholder in it, and the ritual being performed on the Woman. They spoke of the town with the sinister lord, and what ill fate had befallen him. Finally, they discussed the mishap in a small village that had been taken over by vampires, and how they had destroyed an ancient vampire.
The bishop listened intently, though was still very obviously put off by the Jester's smile throughout. When they had finished their tale, he sat for a moment in brief silence. He contemplated what they had said, and pondered whether or not it was at all connected. When he finally spoke, he explained to them that he would need to speak to other bishops to get further ideas on how to proceed.
The Heroes were told to wait in the cathedral, and he would return in just a little while. They made their way back out into the large entryway they had entered from. Parishioners quickly made their way past them, clearly upset at the Jester's presence. The Heroes realized simply standing around would only cause problems, so they made their way to a small, dark corner and began to wait.

Episode 189 With God - Tate and Trump are Like Jesus, The Atmosphere is a Lie, and Polite Conversations

The Heroes stood over the small man, who identified himself as a bishop. His face still pale from encountering the Jester, he carefully continued to look over the Heroes. It appeared as though he was still quite shaken up, and so the Swordsman Hero stepped forward to calm him down. He assured him that they were merely there to provide information and seek guidance.
With this, the bishop seemed relieved. Color returned to his face and he appeared more at ease. He ushered the Heroes to a back room, and sat down behind a sturdy wooden desk. He offered a seat to the heroes, though there was only one open chair. The Heroes looked at each other, waiting to see who would make a move for the open seat. They eventually settled on allowing the Jester to sit down, as it would likely prove humorous.

Episode 188 - Get Starfield Early, Twitter or X Removing Block, Messi in MLS

The Heroes walked out of the alleyway and back onto the main street. Behind them, the female combatant sat with her back up against a wall. Her face bore a disgusted look, brought on by what the Jester had spoken to her. She no longer wished to join the Heroes on their adventure.
They continued down the road until they saw one of their destinations in the city: a massive cathedral. They made their way inside and looked for a bishop. Turning a corner, they bumped into a small man and he clattered to the ground. The Jester leaned down to extend a hand, and he accepted without looking up. Once he fixed his glasses he gazed upon his newfound acquaintance. The Jester's toothy grin caused the color to drain from his face, and he recoiled. The Heroes realized they would have their work cut out for them.
