Finishing their meal, the Heroes thanked the barkeep and stepped outside. The crowd continued to grow rapidly, flowing like a strong tide through the city streets. The Heroes are pulled into the throng of people, unable to work their way across the street. They continued being pulled along, unsure of what would happen to them at the end of the stream of vendors, warriors, and nobles alike.
After a few minutes they were dumped out into a large courtyard. Regrouping, they looked around to get their bearings and discovered they had ended up in front of the arena. The crowd flowed up to the entrances of the arena, fighting to be the first in line. The unfortunate guards stationed at the entrances did everything they could to maintain order amongst the rowdy crowd.
