With the young guard racing towards them, the Heroes quickly decide what to do. The Jester whispered a few words to himself before placing his hands upon the ground. As the young guard ran, the dirt before him began to bulge and he fell into a murky pool of mud. As quickly as the ground had become soft, it hardened back up and held the young guard in place tightly.
The young guard panicked, flailing his arms around wildly as he realized he couldn't move. The Heroes approached him, looking down at him as fear flooded his face. The Swordsman Hero calmly explained to him that they didn't want to hurt him, though they couldn't have him causing them any problems. He began to relax a slight amount before remembering that he had been trapped halfway submerged into the ground.
