With the horrific town of vampires behind them, the Heroes set out on their adventure. It looked as though it would rain, and so they hurried to reach the forest. Unfortunately for them, a river stood in their way. It was too far to go around, so they would need to make their way across where they were.
They grabbed their gear and held it above their heads, slowly making their way across. They realized they had made a mistake when they had been washed hundreds of yards downriver in the blink of an eye. They let the current take them, slowly drifting across to the other side as they did so. Eventually, they washed ashore and tried to spot trees for cover. They wanted to make camp before the rain arrived. They wouldn't want to get wet as night set in.
